About this activity

Far from the crowds, in the heart of a floating village
Get ready to discover, and photograph, a typical Cambodia with a fascinating culture. Away from the crowd, off the beaten track, you will be exposed to all the beauty and authenticity of this country!

I will guide you on a dive into local life in a floating village set on the shimmering waters of Tonle Sap Lake. You will explore its "streets" thanks to a small rowing boat; you will meet the locals there, and you will be able to admire the very particular beauty of this place... The day will end in beauty, with a sunset on the rice fields. Something to come back with fabulous images.... an extraordinary experience!

To make sure you come back with great images from your experience, I will advise you on technique and composition, as well as providing you with spots and personal shooting tips!

About your Mentor
Since my childhood, I have been very interested in photography and I was always with a cousin, amateur photographer in his studio. A few years later, when I was 18, I bought my first camera.

Now, I have been a photographer for almost 20 years. From 2000 to 2009, I shared my time between photography and housing development projects management in France. After that, I oriented my career in more travel photography, working for a French non-profit organization (named Au Fil de l’Eau). This took me to Central Asia and South East Asia as both a photographer and a project manager. After the completion of this initiative (2011), I then moved to Cambodia where I have been working on photography consultancies and project monitoring & evaluation activities for NGOs. Since 2013 as opportunities for photography contracts significantly increased, I have dedicated my professional life to photography for NGOs, corporation and some magazines/newspapers. I always give to my images a documentary style, with no posed images. Looking for the proximity to people, I establish contact, great communication and interactions before taking photos.
