Cancellation Policies

PICSMENTOR™ allows mentors to choose among three standardized cancellation policies (Flexible, Moderate, and Strict) that we will enforce to protect both participant and mentor alike. Each activity on our site will clearly state the cancellation policy. Participants may cancel and review any penalties by viewing their reservation and then clicking ‘Cancel’ on the appropriate reservation.

Flexibles: Full refund 1 day prior to the activity (except service and transaction fees)

Example : the activity takes place on March 15th at 3pm, the cancellation must be made a full 24 hours prior to the activity (on March 14th at 3pm at the latest). A reservation is officially canceled when the participant clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard > Your Bookings > Change or Cancel.

Moderate: Full refund 5 days prior to the activity (except service and transaction fees)

Example : the activity takes place on March 15th at 3pm, the cancellation must be made on March 10th at 3pm at the latest. A reservation is officially canceled when the participant clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard > Your Bookings > Change or Cancel.

Strict: 50% refund 7 days prior to the activity (except service and transaction fees)

Example : the activity takes place on March 15th at 3pm, the cancellation must be made on March 8th at 3pm at the latest. A reservation is officially canceled when the participant clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard > Your Bookings > Change or Cancel.

If there is a complaint from either party, notice must be given to PICSMENTOR™ within 24 hours following the activity. PICSMENTOR™ will mediate when necessary, and has the final say in all disputes.
